Georgia Lady Bulldogs vs. Arkansas Lady Razorbacks

63-73 Georgia

Today I enjoyed a great basketball game with my family. Even with a with a 10 point loss we had a wonderful time. The kids really enjoyed it. It was their first Razorback game, and they were able to get autographs and photos with the team after the game.

Haylee has recently started playing basketball at her school. I think it was good for her to see some girls really get out and put blood, sweat and tears into the game. She has been a little shy at practice, so I'm hoping her seeing the Razorbacks will help boost her confidence.

I came to the game prepared with two cameras, my 100-400 telephoto and my 24-70 telephoto lens. I was however stopped at the door and told I unless I had a media pass, I wouldn't be allowed to bring in my large lens… What a bummer!!! I did manage to persuade them to allow me to bring it in If I promised not to use it.

None the less, with a seat down on the floor I still managed to get some good shots with my wide angle telephoto. I've posted a few of my favorites below.

Growing Pains

Just over a year ago I completely overhauled my website.  I'm finding out quickly I'm already needing to expand.

I feel my photography has split into two different directions. One direction with studio and portrait photography, and another direction with nature and the outdoors. I feel it's leaving my site a bit unorganized.

I have categories to organize my photographs into, but I feel if I had a site devoted to each type of photography I could organize even further and make things that much user friendly.

Maybe I'm thinking to much into it, but don't be surprised if in the near future you see my site split into two different entities. Thoughts?
